Early this morning we took the long road to the top of the 10,023 ft volcano called Haleakala to watch the sunrise over the Hawaiian island chain. It was freaking early and freezing cold, but extremely beautiful! Shortly after the sunrise we had breakfast at Kula Lodge. This is the ritual we use to perform when we lived on Maui - back in the day... good time great oldies!

Sweet - and you can drive there? How chill is that, I kind of dig the walking stuff though when it comes to mountains (then again I've never seen a sunrise from a mountain because of that). Enjoy the rest of your time..
We miss you guys, wish we could be there with you... maybe next time. When you get back we gotta hang out! when you coming back? Your carefree spirits inspire us! Thanks for being you!
awesome! you guys are so newly-wedded-cute-still after 18months! You are kinda like locals everywhere you go. Have a blast you last few days in paradise!
